I want a class that offers more utility. Bring in some spells like shell, reflect, speed spells, and party buffs. I think with the class like this there would be more incentive to design fights around strategy and timing and if Square Enix wants to focus in PvP, this kind of class would help make matches exciting. Just an opinion but DoT damage hardly qualifies as utility and Heavy feels unsatisfying.

I would love LOVE some more utility spells and abilities. I know they are worried about both balance and also confusing new MMO players but come on, you have 50 and now 60 levels to learn how a MMO works. I kept hoping that 3.0 would treat the playerbase as experienced MMO players but no, it really didn't. Certainly by 4.0 we can take the kid gloves off!
Forgot to add this but it could also add to the idea of 5 man party dungeons. Think of the possibilities! #yoshi-please
Funny enough, we've thought/talked about this. Set up a dungeon/raid for 4 man but scale the difficulty up to 8 people per person added. So you could do a 5 or 6 man with a scaled up difficulty. They are doing this with beastman now so if they can balance it...
Anything that would allow me to do more with groups of not exactly 4 or 8 people would be great. The PF does a good job of filling up parties if you have less than the strict amount but I'd still like more options.If they get that balancing down like Rubicon mentioned I really think they could have something that would change HOW we play FFXIV.
